Bookends charm
Common
A 1 and a 6 both scored: +10 Odds.
Hand charm. It looks at the whole hand when you score.
Costs $4 at the stand. Sells for $2.
In the pool from your first run.
What it does
You need a 1 and a 6 inside the scoring hand. Only Two Pair and Full House can hold both, so you are chasing ones and sixes on purpose.
Worked example
Two Pair. Faded dice do not score.
WithoutPot 34 × Odds 2 = 68
With BookendsPot 34 × Odds 12 = 408
Watch out
It is the narrowest common charm. If your dice are not going that way, it sits idle.
Pairs well with
- Low Ball: Every scored 1 counts as 7 pips and adds +2 Odds.
- Snake Eyes: Every scored 1: ×1.5 Odds.
- Twins: Pair: +5 Odds. Two Pair: +8 Odds.
